All songs by Alex Archibald except small portions of 'Bone Fires'
All songs recorded by Lorna Rowe at Grandview Manor apartments in my living room on a Sunday in July, 2017
Except 'Bone Fires' recorded by Archibald all over the coast and the city and 'Raspberry Canes and Ravens' by Archibald in the garden at Kate's place, Cortes Island, July 2017.
Mastering: Julian Marrs

Archibald: steel string guitar, 5 string banjo, cigar box
Lorna Rowe: weissenborn on 'Beach Bark'
'Bone Fires' break down:
Brandon Green: Bass Drums
Joรซl Doyle: freaky store song (recorded without his knowledge)
Brandon Kayes: First two clips - guitar
Kaylee griffith: Last three clips - lead banjo (sort of) (last clip is Kaylee's composition), Piano (also her composition)

Thanks to Art Stephens for the title.
'Guts and Feathers' is a term that was used by log scalers along the BC coast to describe 'leftover/bits and pieces' work. My grandfather Harold Rayner was a log scaler, as was Art.
This is in part why I used the image for the cover of this album which is an album of grieving and remembering my granparents Harold and Laura. The deer was seemingly crushed under this log (though I'm sure that was just the appearance) that I came across while walking along the beach of Cortes Island with My sister. At the basest physical level we're all grinning. Though I suppose our deer doesn't have a lower jaw...
